FINDLOC

I can't find the Fortran FINDLOC function in Absoft's (VR 21.0.1 for Windows 64Bit) PDF documents when I perform PDF searches on FINDLOC.   I have searched this Forum for FINDLOC in the general subjects and found no topics on FINDLOC.  I am new here so possibly I am not using the search correctly?   Seems odd that this has not been talked about before because FINDLOC is such a common task.

Ref:   Google search for "IBM FINDLOC" will return the function implementation I am looking for.

Does anyone have ideas or source code for FINDLOC that can be used with Absoft?

I think that FINDLOC was added as an intrinsic function in F2008. Absort Fortran is Fortran95 plus a number of features from F2003, F2008.


Depending on the version of Absoft Fortran that you have, an intrinsic that was not in F95 may or may not be present in the list of supported functions.
