I have just started using the Absoft FORTRAN and have seen from the examples that is necessary in many instances to specify libraries as part of the compile and link process. What I want to know is how you know what each one is for. I have looked in the documention (at least as well as I can without a key word search facility :-( ) and have not found such a list. The PLPLOT library is self explainatory, but what is gdi32 for example. Does anyone know if such a list exists?
