Precision

hi everybody,
I am using Absoft Pro Fortran 7.5 compiler (f77) and i want to use more than 14 decimal places (more than double precision). I would be glad if you could help me in this manner. thanks in advance, have a nice day.

http://www.ti3.tu-harburg.de/paper/rump/Ru05c.pdf shows how to do quadruple precision using double-precision arithmetic.

Take a look at the High-Precision Software Directory at http://crd.lbl.gov/~dhbailey/mpdist/. I've used qd under ProFortran 9.2 on a Mac G4 under OS 10.4.11 with good results.  :)
