Reading Tabs as Spaces
« on: February 27, 2008, 02:54:55 PM »
I've got an input file where the headings are separated by tabs, but when Absoft Fortran reads the line, it reads them in as 3 spaces. How do I get it to read them in as tabs?

How are you reading the line? Using a FORMAT statement or what?

The line in the input file is something like:
Code: [Select]
(sec) 0.000 10.00 15.00 (km)
And the code is:
Code: [Select]
Character sLine*200
READ(10,'(A200)') sLine
