Identifier length exceeds the maximum of 31 characters
« on: December 05, 2007, 09:07:40 PM »
I get error
"Identifier length exceeds the maximum of 31 characters"
when compiling a fortran code.
Names of variables are long.
Is there a simple way to fix this?
Thanks
Frank

Frank: how about writing a simple program (in BASIC?) to scan your source files and trim your variables to 27 characters + 4 digit uniqueness number?
