Title: A word of thanks to Absoft
Post by: Mike Linacre on September 10, 2022, 06:21:44 AM
Thank you, Absoft. My adventure with Absoft started in 1997 as a replacement for Microsoft FORTRAN. It has served me well for 25 years. In fact, my current 32-bit compiles include source files unchanged since 1997! That is true backwards-compatibility, and necessary for me because my end-users expect the executables to run the same command files to produce the same results as they did in 1989, but with hugely larger datasets (up to 640GB) and a Windows GUI (the amazingly flexible and capable MRWE). Yes, I will probably keep going with an Absoft compiler until it doesn't support necessary new Windows features. Thank you again, Absoft.

Just curious -- what is the software you develop?
