I've negotiating with a client that needs quick time-to-market for iPhone apps, which to me means working with real and synthetic data in Absoft Fortran 95/03, but, when done, producing object code from the platform's compiler, which is usually an ANSI C compiler on a multi-core ARM platform. Right now the only option is manual porting of "design language" for a draft software design document in Fortran 95/03. A better answer would be a F95-t0-C converter, and the best answer would be an ANSI C output of the compiler when an option to produce it is invoked, like the assembly language outputs. This would enable use of Absoft Pro Fortran to produce apps for just about any platform.
Anyone - any thoughts or suggestions?
