I know that for Windows, you must invoke a command processor in the command line, such as "cmd.exe /C start "//<your command> or "PowerShell ...".  In Linux, do you begin your command line with "bash ..." or "konsole..."?  I've tried these and without either I get a error status from execute_command_line(*,exitstatus=extstat...) of 1024 with no prefix or bash, or 256 with konsole.  Anyone with experience using execute_command_line(*) in Linux?
